Physiotherapy
Hi! I am a Registered Physiotherapist and the owner of Restore Physiotherapy. I grew up in Edmonton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta in 2009 before completing a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2012.
I’ve spent most of my career working in Vancouver, BC in hospitals, care facilities, home care, and private clinics. I’ve also assisted with stroke and spinal cord injury research at UBC. Most recently, I worked at Holy Family Hospital, one of BC’s largest rehabilitation centres, where I focused on stroke rehabilitation.
Some of my additional training has been on:
- Stroke and brain injury (including the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) Certificate Course, as well as other NDTA and Bobath courses)
- Balance disorders and Parkinson’s disease
- Orthopaedics (including Manual Therapy Level 2 Upper & Lower Quadrant Diploma courses)
- Chronic pain
My mission as a physiotherapist is to empower clients to achieve their functional goals and maintain their independence and quality of life on their own terms.
